Garrett County in the Future

Garrett County residents, visitors, businesses, schools, healthcare and government organizations will all have a brighter future when Google partners with Garrett County to develop and implement the Garrett Google Fiber Network (GGFN).

Learning does not end with the bell. Students will have access to educational resourses for their homes and other areas of the community. Teachers will have access to students and their work product anywhere, anytime. Benefits will include improved learning, expanded curriculum, greater teacher productivity, and most importantly a future citizenry educated and productive to lead our future growth.
